2007 Christmas box

Forces Favourite and actress Jennifer Ellison became Santa's Helper for the day to join soldiers, sailors and airmen in sending off the last of the 24,000 Christmas gift boxes destined for UK Armed Forces personnel on operational duties overseas this year.

The 2007 box contained a variety of gifts and seasonal items, and the box itself can be reused for storage. We sincerely hope that they were both fun and useful, and served as a small token of everyone's appreciation for the job that these men and women are doing under incredibly difficult circumstances.

Included in every 2007 box was a comments slip asking for feedback and suggestions. Every slip returned was entered in a draw for a chance to win a variety of prizes, presented by the NAAFI, ranging from portable music and DVD players to a TomTom satellite navigation system. The draw was made on January 24th by our patron the Duke of Westminster, and we shall be studying all of the slips to look for ways to improve the box for 2008.

uk4u Thanks! would like to express their sincere 'Thanks' to all of the sponsors and would like to remind you that the charity is always looking at new ideas for the Christmas Box, and to ensure the success and appreciation of this gift we still need sponsors and donations to cover the costs.
