Anonymous supporter gives the Christmas Box campaign largest ever individual donation!

Operation Christmas Box were recently the beneficiary of a very generous anonymous donor, who wished to help give the Armed Forces a memorable Christmas Day while serving away from home.

Operation Christmas Box Trustee Allan Sims received a phonecall from someone who had seen an article on the Christmas Box campaign Allan had written for the local church magazine.   The man then came over to Allan’s house to look at the box, spending two hours going through the box and asking many questions. Impressed by the charity’s efforts, he suddenly produced his chequebook and wrote a check for the charity for £5,000! With Gift Aid this rose to £6,400, the largest donation ever received from an individual. Operation Christmas Box is extremely grateful for this generous donation.
